UP Scholarship 2021

The state government of Uttar Pradesh has recently launched the UP Scholarship for the Pre and Post matric and Diploma students. The main objective of the UP Scholarship is to provide financial aid the students who have applied for this scholarship and are eligible for it.

UP Scholarship 2021 Registration Details

In the time period , the state government has given more 1 lakh scholarship to the students . This scholarship has been given by welfare department on the 71st foundation day of Uttar Pradesh .
The state government of Uttar Pradesh is giving chance to all students to get better education . Some students are unable to complete their higher education due to financial conditions . So UP state government has come up with the “UP Scholarship” for the students by helping them in financial aid.

The student who is applying for the UP Scholarship must undergo this registration process .The below details tells you about the registration process , necessary documents and other essential information required to get the UP Scholarship 2021 for Pre and Post Matric students .

Documents required for applying UP Scholarship 2021

If a student is applying for this scholarship, then he/she must have proper documents that are necessary for the getting this scholarship . The documents that a student must have while filling form for the UP Scholarships are in the list below .
Documents required for applying UP Scholarships 2021 are :-

• Aadhar card – Aadhar card of the student is must for getting scholarship .
• Income certificate : – Student must have income certificate for getting scholarship.
• Bank passbook : Student who wish to get scholarship must have a bank account and its passbook details will be uploaded while filling the UP Scholarship 2021online form .
• Caste certificate : Student must have a caste certificate issued by the government .
• Address proof : while Aadhar Card consists of the Address of the candidate, students can use the Aadhar Card for Address proof. if a students have another address proof , then he/she can use it also.
• Passport size photo : Student must have a passport size photograph. Note that nothing should be written on the photograph. The photograph must be recent .
• Student ID : For Student ID , students can provide the Identity card that provided by the school or educational institute in which he / she is studying.
• Mark Sheet : For getting scholarship, student must have to upload the most recent marksheet ,issued by the school or educational institution in which he/she is studying.
• Fee receipt : Student must provide the Fee Receipt of the school or educational institution in which he/she is studying.

Note : Student must have scanned copy of all the above documents.

Eligibility for Getting UP Scholarship 2021

Not all students will get this UP scholarship 2021. Only those students who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for the scholarship. Only the Eligible candidates will get the scholarship . So the students who wish to get the scholarship must satisfy the below criteria.
The Eligibility criteria for getting the UP Scholarship 2021 is given below.

• Students who are the permanent residence of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for the scholarship. This scholarship is only for the students who are permanent residence of Uttar Pradesh . This scholarship is not for the students who are not the permanent residence of Uttar Pradesh .
• This scholarship is for the students of Class 9 and 10th . The students who have passed the class 9th and class 10th are eligible for this scholarship. Student who have passed the Class 9th and Class 10th will have to apply for Post-matric scholarship 2021
• Students who are presently in class 9th or class 10 must apply for pre-matric scholarship.
• For students who have passed class 11th and class 12th , those students must also apply for Post -metric scholarship. These students must have passed class 11th and class 12th and should have taken admission in any school or in any college.

Students satisfying above criteria are eligible for UP Scholarship 2021. In addition to these criteria, students must satisfy the income criteria. The eligible income criteria is given below.

UP Scholarship 2021 Income Criteria/ Income Eligibility

Not all students are going to get this scholarship. Only those students who qualify Income Criteria are eligible to get this scholarship.
The Income eligibility criteria for getting UP Scholarship is given below :

Pre matric scholarship Income Criteria
Those students who are in class 9th or class 10th are eligible for Pre matric scholarship . In this Scholarship , the family income of the students must be less than or equals to Rs 1 lakh only. If the family income of the students is greater than 1 lakh , then he/she is not eligible for UP Pre-matric Scholarship.

Post matric scholarship Income Criteria
Those students who are in class 11th or class 12th are eligible for Post-matric scholarship . In this Scholarship , the family income of the students must be less than or equals to Rs 2 lakh only for OBC category. If the family income of the students is greater than 2 lakh , then he/she is not eligible for UP Pre-matric Scholarship, and for SC/ST students , the family income of the students must be less than or equals to Rs 2.5 lakh only . If the family income of the students from SC/ST category is greater than 2.5 lakh , then he/she is not eligible for UP Pre-matric Scholarship.

How to apply for UP Scholarship 2021 online ?

Students who satisfy above eligibility criteria and income criteria must follow these steps to apply for the UP Scholarship 2021 Online .

• Step 1 : Visit the Official Website of the Scholarship of UP . CLICK HERE to go the official website of Scholarship Uttar Pradesh .
• Step 2: In the middle of the official website you will find a box which contains options like ‘Pre Matric Class 9-10’ ; Post Matric Inter Class 11-12 ; Post Matric Other than Inter ; Post Matric Out Side State . A plus sign is marked on each option.
  • If you wish to apply for the Pre matric scholarship , then chose this option ” Pre Matric Class 9-10 “. Similarly select the scholarship for which you are eligible.
• Step 3 : Clicking the plus button which is marked on the right side of each scholarship name , you will get two options . Registration and Login . If you are new user and haven’t applied for this scholarship then click on Register option , If you have registered on it then press login button and continue .
• Step 4 : Clicking on the Registration option will ask you for fresh registration and renewal option. if you have not applied for this scholarship then click fresh registration , else go for renewal process.
• Step 5 : It will direct you to a webpage where a student must enter the information which is asked there.
• Student must fill all the blank spaces with their correct information like : –
• Name , Class, Fathers Name , Mothers Name , Religion, Income, School Name , School Address, Date of Birth, Gender , Year of Passing, School Roll number, Marksheet details, Mobile Number, e-mail id, etc.
• Step 6: After filling all your details and uploading the asked documents and certificates , click on submit button .

Clicking on the Submit button will complete your registration process.
