ASTRO SAT

ASTROSAT is next generation astronomy satellite . Indian space agency ISRO is planning to develop next generation astronomy satellite .First mission of ASTROSAT was launched on 28th September 2015  and is still functionable.

Key Points

  • First ASTRO SAT was launched by ISRO from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Srihari Kota .
  • It has completed  6 years in 2021.
  • ASTRO SAT is a multi-wavelength space observatory .
  • ASTRO SAT has been placed in low-earth equatorial orbit.
  • It is placed at an altitude of 650 km .

Other Details about ASTRO SAT

ASTROSAT had detected extreme Ultraviolet rays from the galaxy – AUDFs01 . It is one of  farthest galaxy known. And at the recent, Astro Sat has detected X-ray emission from a black hole system .


SABKI YOJANA SABKA VIKAS

SABKI YOJANA SABKA VIKAS

Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas is a People’s Plan Campaign launched by Giriraj Singh (Panchayati Raj minister) with an aim to strengthen the role of elected representatives of Panchayats and self-help groups under DAY-NRLM in Gram Sabha .

 PEOPLE Plan Campaign

  • This Campaign is from 2nd October to 31st January 2022.
  • Panchayats have been mandated for the preparation of Panchayat Development Plan (PDP) for economic development and social justice utilizing the resources available to them.
  • The PDP planning process has to be comprehensive and based on participatory process which involves the full convergence with Schemes of all related Central Ministries / Line Departments related to 29 subjects enlisted in the Eleventh Schedule of the Constitution.

SWACHH BHARAT MISSION – URBAN 2.0

SWACHH BHARAT MISSION – URBAN 2.0

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the second phase of Swachh Bharat Mission -Urban 2.0 and AMRUT 2.0 with an aim to completely remove the garbage mountains in the cities .

Key Points

  • This mission is designed to make all the cities of India garbage free .
  • The first phase of the mission was launched on 1st August 2021 by Narendra Modi .
  • AMRUT 2.0 will aim to make cities self-reliant and ensuring water security. In this mission, better water services will be provided to the people .
  • AMRUT full form : Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation.
